This tomahawk was hand forged using a coal fire. It was produced from a solid piece of square 4140 steel stock. It is a drifted eye style tool that was shaped, hardened, tempered, then sharpened. The handle is made of hickory and has been stained, coated in oil and then buffed with beeswax. The head is approx. 6" long with an approx. 2 3/4" cutting edge on a 18" handle. The upper edges of the bit are squared for scraping as well as making fire with a ferro rod. Makers mark stamped into the poll. Handmade items are always unique and no two are exactly the same. Must be 18 years of age to order. It is buyers responsibility to ensure this item is legal to own in their location.
